Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on 28 October 1967, in Atlanta. She is the fourth generation of Robertses who reside in the Atlanta region, beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was a young man when he began to take an interest in theater. He performed on his Emory University campus in 1952 and in other productions around Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force. He was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in productions with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple tied the knot and their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter along with his wife resigned from for the Army in the year 1957 at which time they were enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. The family relocated in 1960 from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local children's Saturday morning television show Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for six years. In the meantime, they had two more youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
